Betty Crocker's Cooky Book and decided to make Molasses Jumbles. The only difference I did was I added white chocolate chips and I used butter instead of shortening. So the ingredients are:
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1 cup Molasses
3 1/2 cups Flour
1 T Baking Soda (yes, that is 1 Tablespoon)
1/2 t salt
1/2 cup Cold water
12 oz package white chocolate chips
I creamed the butter, brown sugar, and molasses. I added the remaining ingredients. Drop by round teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet and bake 8-10 minutes.
I found the molasses flavor a little strong, but I still like it. This might be the cookie for you if you like the flavor of molasses.
